#7 February Photography Challenge

February 6th:  "Music"

The challenge for the day is "Music".  

I love how a song can bring back such memories to me.  It seems that all of the emotions, sights, sounds, and smells come rushing back to me with memories attached to a song.  I love that unexpectedness of it all.  

I also really love the way that music can calm your soul and speak to you just when you need it most.  You can release your stress by hammering out on drums, or even calm down your day by strumming out your favorite song or playing your favorite instrument.  It helps you sometimes see things in life a bit clearer and can help you through your rough patches.  You can bring out your joy or release your sadness.  It can bring impromptu dance parties or sing alongs.  It has the power to bring perfect strangers together, for something that they may not otherwise have in common. 

Do you play an instrument or maybe even just have a favorite type of music to listen to?  Do you have that favorite song that will stop you in your tracks that you have to sing or dance to no matter where you are?  Share with us what music means to you.  We would love to see your "Music" photos and hear from you!
