#15 February Photography Challenge

February 15th:  "Black & White"

 

 

The challenge for the day is "Black & White". 

I love "Black & White" photography.  It is definitely one of my favorite areas to work in.  The contrast, depth, lighting, feel, and focus become very apparent when working in black and white.  I thought I'd take this back to my photography class days when we did lighting experiments with tea cups.  I call this series my "Coffee Noir".  This is what happens when you missed your coffee for the day.  Enjoy! 

So what can you do with "Black and White" photos?  You can find interesting lighting, play with compositions, change your focus.  There are so many choices and learning opportunities when it comes to "Black & White".  Show us how you approached "Black & White" for your photos.  And don't forget to share with us when you are done!
