February 27th:  "Down Low"
The challenge for the day is "Down Low".

Just like I think it's important to look "Up High", I think it is equally important to take time to notice things "Down Low."  Sometimes the most mundane things can be amazingly beautiful if you just take the time to really look at them.  The goal of life isn't to get through it, it's to live it!  And noticing the world and those tiny precious moments around you can make all the difference in the world.  To really make memories, you need to be actively involved.  Did you ever really take the time to notice that pond scum that you thought was so disgusting?  It's really just thousands of tiny beautiful plants.  Did you notice that knot in the tree?  I can suddenly become abstract art.  Or maybe, just maybe, take the time let your mind wander, to play, and make up a whole adventure.  Alice in Wonderland had the ability to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.  So whether you are outside in nature or just around the block or out with your friends or your families, look up from those worries, stresses, work, and phones, to take time to really enjoy life and starting "Making Memories."

So what have you noticed "Down Low"?  Share your favorite stories, memories, locations, and pictures with us.  We would love to see and hear about it.  "Making Memories" is what is so important to us.

Don't forget to share your favorites with us.  We can't wait to see how you get creative.

February 26th:  "Up High"

The challenge for the day is "Up High".

I have never been disappointed by taking the time to just look up or even look down from really "Up High".  On our many adventures I have come across such amazing wonders along the way.  This could be some crazy huge dinosaur and it's little one trying to peak inside a childrens museum.  Or maybe it's a one of a kind hands-on adventuresome museum made completely by reclaimed architecture.  Or an Air Force Museum with huge and varied aircraft suspend from it's ceilings.  Then there is always unique architecture in itself like St. Louis' Arch or CN Tower that offer amazing views from both looking up and looking out.  Wonderful caves of wonder exist with such unique nature made secrets.  Air shows and amazing art works can also catch your eye.  You just never know what you'll find until you look!

So what catches your eye "Up High"?  Share your favorite stories, memories, locations, and pictures with us.  We would love to see and hear about it.  "Making Memories" is what is so important to us.

Don't forget to share your favorites with us.  We can't wait to see how you get creative.

February 25th:  "Parents"
The challenge for the day is "Parents".

My "Parents" have been the best example a girl could have in life.  First off, they survived me and my brothers which is no small feat.  Then they had so much love to share to do this all over again (despite us first three) and adopt my three beautiful little sisters.  I've seen them go through hard financial times to come out ahead creating and running their own business.  They are always able to make the best of any situation.  They've taught us to plan for the rainy days and then to go out and dance in that rain to make the best of it.  The strongest characteristic about both of them is their love for each other and the generousity that even in tight times they have always shown.  They are both fun, lovable, smart, generous, silly, playful, kind, and protective of their own.  They have not only been my parents, but also my best friends and biggest cheerleaders.  I am so very thankful for them every day.

So who will be your example of "Parents" for todays challenge?  This could be you, your own parents, friends that are parents, or even puppy parents.  Share your favorite stories, memories, and pictures with us.  We would love to see and hear about it.  "Making Memories" is what is so important to us.

Don't forget to share your favorites with us.  We can't wait to see how you get creative.

February 24th:  "Friends"
The challenge for the day is "Friends".

What can I say?  Where would I be with out this big beautiful bunch of people that I call friends?  This is a collection of pictures from as recent as yesterday and as far back as 20 years.  I have many even years further, but those photos were done on film.  These people have stood by my side for well over 20 years.  We met as teenagers for most of us.  We've been there for each other in both the happiest of times and also for the worst of times.  We've laughed so hard that our bellies hurt, stayed up all night together, and have cried on each others shoulders at our breaking points.  We know each others lifetime of secrets, watch each other fall in love, graduate, get houses, start new jobs, have kids and everything in between.  I am so grateful for each and every one of them.  I am me, because of them.

So are you lucky enough to have lifelong "Friends" in your mix?  Or maybe there's those friends that are brand new, but connect so much that it seems like you've known each other your whole lives.  Share your friend stories and pictures with us.  We would love to see and hear about it.  "Making Memories" is what is so important to us.

February 23nd:  "Mood"
The challenge for the day is "Mood".

So this isn't my usual style but I really like how these turned out.  I was going for a more moody and darker feel for these ones today.  Hope you like them.

So what is your "Mood" like today?  Here's hoping for a happy sunshiny day to boost all of our moods.

February 22nd:  "Windows"

The challenge for the day is "Windows".

I like all different emotions that you can get from pictures with "Windows".  On a sunny day, windows can bring joy, on a dark and dreary night it can be more sadness.  It can show curiousity and hope as a little child looks out of it.  Or it can bring thoughtfulness as someone ponders their day.  It can be a reflection of your own feelings at that moment in time.  So not only can "Windows" be a great architectural piece, they can be a reflection of human emotions.
So how did you approach "Windows"?  Was it a favorite one that you like to look through, a favorite style, or something else?

Don't forget to share your favorites with us.  We can't wait to see how you get creative.

February 21st:  "Games"

The challenge for the day is "Games".

I thought for "Games" I would go with two of my childhood favorites:  "Mouse Trap" and "Clue."  Mouse trap was always one of those games that my brothers and I played with constantly but never actually played the game.  The contraption itself, to catch the mouse, was always much more fun to us, than actually trying to win.  Funny, I don't think I even knew how to actually play this until I had kids of my own.  I still prefer to just play with this game straight up as a toy than a game.  Poor little mouse... he was always bound to be captured that way.  I guess I'll never change.

Now the second "Game" I absolutely loved as a kid and still do is "Clue."  To me, this is the original escape room.  I am such a huge fan of puzzles, mysteries, and strategy that this game was always right up my alley.  I loved it so much, I had to re-get it as an adult and talk the kids into playing with me.  (Bribery works wonders!)  And although we had a themed version of this, I still really just wanted the original.  It just wouldn't be the same without Professor Plum, Miss Scarlet, or Colonel Mustard.  I don't care how pretty the other pieces were, there is nothing quite like the original.  I like the idea that you can play it sly when it comes to showing your cards and to guess and reason what everbody elses cards are by what you have or already seen.  It's the perfect family game or even great with just your siblings.

So what are your favorite "Games"?  Did you have any childhood games that you just can't pass up to this day?  Let us know what was your favorite "Games" then, and what is your favorite "Games" now.  We can't wait to see what you love.
