February 28th:  "Hobby"
The challenge for the day is "Hobby".

I have so many things that I'm into for today's "Hobby".  Several of them I have covered in some of the other challenges for this month.  So I'll use todays challenge to cover Music, Photography, and Video Games.

Music and dance can always bring joy to my life.  If it's not playing it, then it's listening to it, or dancing to it.  I love such a variety of types of music, too.  My favorites probably being punk, alternative, and grunge.  But don't get me wrong, I love everything from listening to the "Rat Pack", to folk music and bluegrass, to blues, classic rock, big band, and more.  Music always has a way of being in tune with my life and picking me up when I need it the most.

Of course, I can't leave out photography for a "Hobby".  I have a collection of old cameras, specifically Kodak cameras many which have been in my family since their younger days.  I have two old bellow style cameras that use to be my grandparents'.  I have my Dad's old Brownie camera along with a couple of other Brownie versions.  And I have my very first camera that I started on which was an Instamatic with flash cubes. I love that these have captured so many great memories throughout my family, through the years.  It's nice to have something from them that was used during many happy moments in their lives.
I really love spending time with the family getting to laugh and play video games together.  Yes, my kids are way better than me for the most part.  I can still own it though when it comes to old classics like Mario.  We play on anything from computers, systems, or handheld devices and a huge variety of styles of games.  It's a great way to get some family time in or even one on one time with the kids.

So what kind of "Hobby" do you have?  Share your favorite stories, memories, locations, and pictures with us.  We would love to see and hear about it.  "Making Memories" is what is so important to us.

Don't forget to share your favorites with us.  We can't wait to see how you get creative.

You can post your images to our blog under comments or to our facebook page:  www.facebook.com/CJphotography.OH under the individual posts for each day/category.  You can also post on instagram and tag us @cjphotographyllc, so we can see your creative works.  Hashtag your photos: #cjphotochallenge1 so everyone can find them.  Don't forget to "Like" and "Follow" our pages so you can see all of the updates.  This is all about encouraging others, having fun, and growing our skills.  Feel free to show your appreciation to others works by leaving nice comments for them.
